Пара — это занятие, которое длится два академических часа (по 45 минут), соответственно одна пара займёт 90 минут.



Бывает несколько видов пар:

Лекция — объяснение темы преподавателем;

Потоковая лекция — то же самое, что и лекция, только приходит такую лекцию не одна группа, а весь поток;

Семинар — подвид практического занятия, обсуждение темы;

Коллоквиум — проверка того, как усвоили тему. На семинары и коллоквиумы темы и вопросы для обсуждения, как правило, высылают заранее;

Лабораторные и практические занятия — выполнение заданий, подобранных по какой-либо теме;

Консультация — дополнительная возможность разобраться со сложной темой с преподавателем.
Пары
Расписание звонков
Первая пара начинается в 8:30. Перерывы между парами в ДВФУ по 10 минут.

1 пара: 08:30 – 10:00;

2 пара: 10:10 – 11:40;

3 пара: 11:50 – 13:20;

4 пара: 13:30 – 15:00;

5 пара: 15:10 – 16:40;

6 пара: 16:50 – 18:20;

7 пара: 18:30 – 20:00;

8 пара: 20:10 – 21:40;

Не переживай, что придется сидеть в универе до 10 часов вечера: 7 и 8 пары ставятся крайне редко и, как правило, только у магистров или аспирантов.

Иногда в расписании бывают «окна», когда между парами есть большой промежуток, в это время можно передохнуть, перекусить в столовой или позаниматься в библиотеке.
For foreigners
Ways to get to Vladivostok
There is an airport in Vladivostok (Knevichi), from which both international and domestic flights are carried out. The most convenient way to get to Vladivostok is by plane. Check with the air ticket offices of your city what options exist for a flight to Vladivostok.
You can arrive to Vladivostok on any date, starting from September 15.
The settlement to the FEFU campus starts on September 15.
This academic year studies begin on September 19.
You need to inform us about the date of your arrival 7 days before arrival by interadvising@dvfu.ru

If you come to Vladivostok airport (Knevichi), you can reach the FEFU university using the following ways:
 
— EXPRESS-TRAIN:
The station is located right inside the airport, coming out of the arrivals zone you need to turn right till the end of the airport building, then use the escalator to go up and walk through the hall till you see the express-train station, where you can buy tickets (cost — 280 rubs).

— TAXI SERVICE:
At the airport, right after you exit the arrivals area, there are offices of official representatives of taxi companies. Please do not respond to offers from unlicensed drivers offering their services. It can be unsafe and will cost more than official representatives would charge!
Accommodation
To settle in the dormitory, you must provide following documents: fluorography examination result, certificate of absence of infectious diseases (can be done in Vladivostok), photo 3*4, passport.
The settlement
You will be able to move into your dormitory. The settlement service works 24/7, so you can come at any time of the day.

The tariff plan according to which you pay for the hostel as a student is called «Student — 1». In accordance with this tariff plan, the payment for the hostel is 3,960 rubs per month, double room, payment is made for the entire semester at a time.
Аfter the settlement
Important procedures to undergo:

Right after the settlement (or the day after if you came late in the evening) you need to visit:
1. The department of work with international students (E745).
2. The department of visas and registration (E744)

Working hours:
Mon — Fri, 9 am — 6 pm (lunch 1 pm — 2 pm).

In 3 days after arrival, you must apply documents for temporary registration (E744).
Within 90 days after arrival to Russian Federation every student must undergo the procedures of medical examination and dactylography (Е745).
